Python in ITASCA Software
This live online course provides an introduction to using the Python programming language in ITASCA Software to reach more advanced modeling capabilities. Topics include Python fundamentals and application in FLAC3D, FLAC2D, and 3DEC through practical exercises.
This training is anchored in real‑world case studies drawn from ITASCA’s consulting work. You’ll see how experienced engineers apply key concepts in practice, gain insight into their decision‑making, and learn techniques you can put to use immediately. You’ll benefit from peer‑to‑peer exchange, collaborative discussion, and instructor insights that bridge theory with field‑tested experience — the kind of knowledge you simply won’t find in manuals.
You’ll work hands‑on with practical scenarios, guided PowerPoint modules, open group discussion, and essential theoretical concepts that reinforce your understanding of geomechanics and numerical modeling. The course concludes with a short assessment validating your mastery of the key concepts.
